“Snow” and “Snow II” by Yucheng Tao

JUNE 2025

Snow

when snow fell down the Golden Pavilion

we
perhaps
touch
darkness
we
snowbound
silence
darkness
we
when snow fell down the Golden Pavilion

Snow II

Snow on the golden shrine.
People leave the temple.
Mist reveals her face,
Sinking into the fading snow,
Like wet white flowers,
Spreading a touch of red on lips.
